The court 's jurisdiction to review is confined to the grounds as mentioned in Order 47 of the Code which are very limited , that is , on the ground of discovery of new and important matter ' or evidence , which , after the exercise of due diligence , was not within the knowledge of the party or could not be produced by them at the time when the decree/order was passed or on account of some mistake or error apparent on the face of record , as , for example , if some Act or binding judgement of the higher court was not taken notice of , or some public document was ignored .
   न्यायालय की पुनर्विलोकन की अधिकारिता संहिता के आदेश 47 में उल्लिखित आधारों तक सीमित है जो बहुत थोड़े-से हैं अर्थात किसी नई तथा महत्वपूर्ण सामग्री अथवा साक्ष्य का पता चलने के आधार पर , जो सम्यक तत्परता बरतने के बाद , पक्ष की जानकारी में नहीं थी अथवा डिक्री/आदेश पारित करते समय पेश नहीं की जा सकी अथवा अभिलेख को देखते ही पता लग जाने वाली किसी गलती या त्रुटि के कारण , उदाहरणार्थ यदि किसी अधिनियम अथवा उच्चतम न्यायालय के निर्णय की ओर ध्यान न गया हो अथवा किसी लोक दस्तावेज की उपेक्षा हो गई हो .
